History

I have been programming since 15 years of age when my parents bought our first computer in 1995. I cut my teeth in Borland-C++ writing text adventure games in C. By 1999, I was writing Perl for the web, and in 2001 I jumped on the PHP/MySQL bandwagon.

My first programming job was in 2003 writing an order fulfillment web application for Bio-Logic Aqua Technologies, Inc. This project grew into huge system that eventually handled orders, shipping, and accounting for the entire company (around 30 employees). At the time, Bio-Logic Aqua was shipping half a million units into retail stores across the country, and my software was the main funnel point for all these orders.

I loved web development but was never happy with the projects I worked on. Like any bored programmer, I jumped from platform to platform trying to find happiness. I ended up learning PHP, Python, ASP.NET, Javascript and jQuery, CSS and HTML. In 2009 I shifted gears and started working with UIKit on the iPhone, and I have not looked back since.

From 2010 to 2012 I had the chance to study graphic design and my skills have grown considerably. Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D have become everyday tools along with writing code.

I’ve been focusing on the iOS platform since 2009.
